In active development — Windows build in progress

Your business runs on a spreadsheet.
It deserves a workstation.

Ledger is a cross-platform desktop workspace for inventory, billing, and financial analytics — built for small business owners, warehouse managers, and independent operators who've outgrown notebooks but can't justify enterprise software.

PREVIEW-MODE-ACTIVE

No license needed — this just scrolls you to a live look at the interface.

Built by one developer, in the open, on a single laptop. No investors, no team — just a working product and a plan to earn a subscription, not assume one.

The gap

Between a notebook and a ₹15,000/month ERP, there's nothing built for you

Spreadsheets break silently

One wrong formula and your stock count is wrong for a month. No audit trail, no warnings, no sync between the person at the counter and the person in the warehouse.

Enterprise ERPs are built for enterprises

Modules you'll never touch, onboarding calls you don't have time for, and pricing that assumes a finance department — not a founder doing the books at midnight.

So Ledger sits in between

Real inventory control, real billing, real analytics — in a fast native desktop app that looks like something you'd actually want open all day.

Inside the workspace

Five screens in, and a dashboard tying them together

Every screen below is a real screenshot of the current build — not a mockup. (A Command Dashboard also greets you on login, with a Stock In/Out toggle and at-a-glance health metrics — its screenshot is on the way as that screen gets its next visual pass.)

01

A secure activation gate, not just a login screen

Ledger opens behind a license workstation — enterprise keys unlock the workspace, with theme switching available right from the activation stage. It's the first thing that tells you this was built to be taken seriously.

  • License-key based activation, ready for tiered plans
  • Native light/dark toggle before you're even inside
  • Encrypted local state once unlocked

02

Master inventory, searchable the moment you need it

Search by SKU, product name, or category and get instant results — live-synced to the cloud, so the count on your screen matches what's actually on the shelf.

  • Instant multi-parameter search
  • Dynamic stock status badges
  • Inline edits sync to the cloud immediately

03

Billing that shows you what's actually owed

Every invoice tracked with a customer name, a date, and a status you can read at a glance — color-coded so a Paid invoice never gets confused with an Overdue one.

  • One-click invoice creation
  • Color-coded Paid, Pending, and Overdue statuses
  • A running log of every transaction

04

Performance analytics that read like a story, not a spreadsheet dump

Weekly revenue trends rendered as gradient bar charts, alongside the three numbers that actually matter: revenue growth, items sold, and return rate.

  • Custom gradient weekly revenue trend
  • Revenue growth and item velocity, side by side
  • Return rate tracked as a first-class metric

05

Governance that takes a data wipe as seriously as it should

Administrator profile, business configuration, and currency settings live in one modular panel — with a clearly separated Danger Zone for factory resets, so irreversible actions never happen by accident.

  • Administrator profile hub
  • Business name & currency configuration
  • Isolated, confirmed factory reset

Where it runs

One codebase, built for every screen you work from

Ledger is built in Flutter specifically so it doesn't have to pick one platform. Here's the honest state of each today.

Windows

In active development

The primary build target right now. Desktop-native performance, offline-first, with cloud sync layered on top.

macOS

Planned

Same Flutter core, native macOS shell — next after the Windows build stabilizes.

Android

Planned

A companion build for warehouse floors and on-the-go stock checks.

iOS

Planned

iPhone and iPad support, once the shared core is battle-tested elsewhere.

Ledger isn't on any app store yet. Early builds will be distributed directly — join early access to be first in line, no store account required.

Built to be trusted with your numbers

Offline-first. Encrypted. Yours.

Ledger is designed so your business doesn't stop working the moment your internet does — and so your data isn't sitting in plaintext when it doesn't need to be.

License key validation

Every workspace is gated behind a validated activation key before any data loads.

Encrypted data states

Sensitive local state is encrypted at rest, not stored as plain readable files.

Offline-first architecture

Keep working through a dropped connection — Ledger syncs to Supabase the moment you're back online.

Cloud sync via Supabase

Real-time relational sync across devices, without building or maintaining our own backend.
